WIP Dollhouse Miniature Food Box Template

Hello crafters!

It's Wednesday which makes it a perfect time for a WIP (work in progress) update on one of my crafts that I've been working on for awhile now & can't wait to show you all!

At the moment, whenever I'm not crafting, I have been working on some miniature box templates.  In the picture below, you can see some boxes that I'm working on for mac & cheeses, raisins, Kittios, and penne noodle.

I'm still working on these templates & many more templates at the moment.  Unfortunately, I somehow got the measurements wrong so I'm still adjusting them.

For my first try at making these templates, I think they turned out pretty well!  Make sure to check back!  Whenever I finish making them, I will be posting the templates for them so you can make them yourself!

I hope you like them so far!

Mini Ham & Cheese Sandwiches

Hello crafters!

I recently made these delicious miniature cheese and ham sandwiches. Was planning to post them awhile ago but had forgotten!

To make these, I got 6 pieces of beige clay & shaped each of them into a triangle shape. I did the same thing with 3 pieces of orange clay & pink clay around the same size. Afterwards, I placed one of the triangle pink pieces on top of one of the beige pieces of clay. Then, I placed an orange piece on top & added another beige piece on top.  Finally, I just shaped the sandwich a little more.
,
Well, that was pretty much it!  I hope you like it!

Dollhouse Miniature Cherry Cheesecake

Hello crafters!

If you read my last post, then you might remember that I had made my mini orange cake during the same time that I created my pastel rainbow cake.  During that night & the day before I had created a few other cakes too!

So here with us today is my new mini cherry cheesecake!! It seems like my dolls keep asking me for cheesecakes, but actually, I tend to have a ton of almost dry, chunky red paint left after making some new crafts and decide to use it for cheesecakes!

Anyways, I made the cheesecake by adding white clay into a bottom cheesecake mold. Once I took it out, I painted the bottom piece with a beige color. After that, I added beads to the red Puffy Paint mix & mixed everything together to color the beads.  Finally, I added the mixture on top of the cheesecake bottom & dripped red suncatcher paint on top of it to make it shiny.

I hope you like it!

Miniature Orange Cake

Hello crafters!

Today I'm super excited to post a brand new orange cake that I made earlier this weekend!

I had actually made it while making my rainbow pastel cake during Friday night.  Haven't had time to post this cake or a lot of other minis that I've recently made due to crafting so much lately.

Anyways, onto this delicious orange cake!  I had made it out of air dry clay.  First, I just shaped the white clay, and cut out a cake piece.  Next, I flaked the cake.  After that, I started making the frosting for the cake by mixing white Simulation cream, a mix of orange sun catcher paint & pink Puffy Paint, and some white Puffy Paint.  Finally, I added some yellow sprinkles & an orange decoration piece on top!  The yellow sprinkles actually seem to look like orange sprinkles on the cake, but it works pretty well!

I hope you like it!

Miniature Rainbow Pastel Cake

Hello crafters!
I just love beautiful pastel colors so much that I had to participate in this weekend's challenge on the app Crafty Amino!  I actually love all pastel colors, so my favorite pastel color would probably be rainbow pastels!  So that's why I had decided to make a . . . . . . . . . . Miniature Rainbow Pastel Cake!

I started work on it late Friday night.  Was planning to post it yesterday, but I had stayed up late so I didn't wake up as early as expected.
Anyways, I made it out of white clay & used my needle tool to flake the cake.  Next, I painted each and every cake layer with sun catcher paints.  After coloring the layers, I re-flaked the cake.  Did this twice to the cake so it would look more realistic.  After I finished flaking the inside, I started making the pastel pink frosting!  To make the frosting, I had mixed white Puffy Paint, Pink Sun catcher paint, and white Simulation Cream.  Then, I spread the frosting all over the cake & cake piece.  Finally, I added pastel sprinkles on top!
This cake was so fun to make!  I hope you liked it!

How To Make A Dollhouse Table Using Contact Paper & A Cardboard Ribbon Roll Tutorial

Hello crafters!

Today I'm super excited to show you how to make a dollhouse miniature table using contact paper &
a cardboard ribbon roll in 6 easy steps!

It was actually pretty interesting to make.  Depending on the size of the ribbon roll that you're using, you can make miniature dollhouse tables for a variety of dolls!

Here's the tutorial!

Here is what you'll need:

  • A cardboard ribbon roll
  • Contact paper
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  1. First, cut out a small piece of contact paper, and stick it to one side of the ribbon roll.

  2. Next, use scissors to cut off the extra contact paper.  Keep trimming until the sides become smooth.

  3. Then, start placing the contact paper on the roll.  Keep cutting off any extra contact paper.
  4. I used scrap pieces that I had cut off to fill in any extra areas.
  5. After  I finished adding the contact paper on the roll, I coated it with tape to make sure the contact paper wouldn't come off.

  6. Cut off the extra tape.

    The table is finished!

I hope you liked it!

Miniature Ocean Inspired Scene

Hello crafters!

Today I'm super excited to post this adorable super small scene I made a while ago inspired by the ocean floor!

Not sure why I never posted it before, but luckily, I just found some old pictures of it so now I can finally post it!

Anyways, I had used a bit of blue & sand-colored clay to make the ocean floor inspired bottom, and the beautiful blue ocean background.  I had also tried using sandpaper on the bottom piece to give it a bit of texture. After that, I started making the sand colored shell!  To make it, I rolled the clay into a thin, straight piece of clay.  Then, I just rolled up the thin clay piece, pressed it flat, and stuck it to the scene.  Finally, I made the coral reefs by rolling out colorful pieces of clay and sticking them together. and adding them to the scene.

It's so tiny!  The end of the pencil looks half the size of the whole scene!

I hope you like it!

White Vanilla Strawberry Frosting Miniature Cake

Hello crafters!

After another late night of crafting, I'm super excited to finally post a new craft!  Been super busy crafting the last few days, so hopefully, I can soon find enough time to post the majority of these crafts soon!

Anyways, this is one of my newest miniature 1:12 scale cakes!  It's supposed to be a white vanilla cake with fluffy strawberry icing & hearts on top!

To make this cake, I just used white clay, shaped it into a cake, and cut out the cake piece.  Next, I just flaked the cake with my needle tool.  Then, I started to work on creating the frosting!  For the frosting, I had mixed pink Puffy Paint and white Simulation Cream together & let it sit for a few minutes to become a bit thicker.  It ended up to be the perfect color, so I used my needle tool & toothpick to paint it onto the cake.  Finally, I sprinkled some heart decorations on top!

Well, I hope you liked it!

Unicorn Ears & Horn Headband - Finished!

Hello crafters!
Yay!  After hours of work, these unicorn ears are finally finished!  I had actually finished these beautiful ears yesterday evening but just hadn't posted it yet since I've been crafting since I woke up this morning.
This was one of my favorite crafts to make!  It's super exciting to see the outcome since I had never made anything like this until now.
So once I finished sewing the white felt together, I added a bit of stuffing inside.  I also had decided to add a small headband inside of it to give it the perfect shape.  Then, I lightly painted a little bit of glitter Puffy Paint on top of the golden thread I used.  After that, I used the black brush that I had used to brush out the faux fur for the ears to brush the white felt. Just did a few careful brushes to give it a fluffy fur look.

Now it's time to glue the ears & horn onto the headband!  It got a bit messy but was worth it in the end.  To glue the ears & horn, I used a bit of Tacky glue & confetti glitter Puffy Paint.  After adding the paint onto the headband and sticking the ears & horn to it, I held them in place for about 30 minutes, They were finally finished!
Really hope I can make more ears similar to this soon! Well, for now, I hope you like them!

Unicorn Ears & Horn - Making The Horn & Headband

Hello crafters!

After staying up for most of the night, and taking a small break to sleep, I finally finished the unicorn horn!

So basically, I've been painting the horn for a few hours with a pretty paint color which I had made by mixing white, pink, light blue, gold metallic, and confetti glitter Puffy Paint.  After a few coats of paint, it started to look more and more like a unicorn horn!

Once the horn & ears were basically dry, I started realizing that the headband I was planning to use was too small to attach the ears & horn onto.  After that, I decided to try making my own headband!

At the moment I'm sewing white felt together with golden thread & I'm planning to stuff it with stuffing so it becomes close to thick as a headband.

Only a few hours left to finish!  Hope you like them so far!

Unicorn Ears & Horn - Making The Ears

Hello crafters!

Finally taking a break from working on these unicorn ears.  Took awhile, but luckily I'm basically finished with the ears!  The only thing left to finish is the glittery horn!

Making these ears took hours.  The hardest part would probably be making the fur.  Have to be honest, brushing out all of that fur is really tiring!

Well, I originally was using yarn to make the faux fur, but I started wondering if I could use felt to make a similar-looking faux fur.  Both ways turned out to work well, so I made a bit of the faux fur out of yarn & the rest out of felt.

I used scissors to cut off some of the thicker parts of yarn & felt so the of the fur would be perfectly fluffy!  The yarn I used was had pastel colors & then I used purple, white, and blue felt.  Once I made the fur, I mixed a variety of Puffy Paints to make a pinkish-purple paint.  After that, I used the paint to stick the fur onto the basic unicorn ears.  I tried to lightly add a few splashes of paint onto the ears to help all of the colors go together.

After getting super messy with paint everywhere for the ears, I've just added one coat of glitter Puffy Paint onto the horn.  Planning to go back to work within a few minutes!

I hope you like these ears so far!  Make sure to check back soon for another update on these unicorn ears & horn!
