Mini Chihuahua - Finished!

Hello crafters!

Remember my WIP mini chihuahua I posted awhile ago?  She is finally finished!

Was planning to post the finished product a day or two after posting the WIP version since she was almost finished, until I decided to add some sparkle & wait until after Christmas to post her!  But no worries, she is finally here to be revealed!

Well, after the clay had dried, I mixed white, brown and a bit of yellow Puffy Paint to make a puppy beige color.  Next, I used a paintbrush and a toothpick to slightly paint the white chihuahua.  It was really hard to perfectly paint the chihuahua while trying not to get too much paint on the sofa.  After that, I used a paintbrush to paint the sofa purple.  I originally used a toothpick to add holes into the sofa so once I painted it purple, I added some gold beads into all of the little holes.  Finally, I used black Puffy Paint to draw the chihuahua's eyes, and then used a little black bead for her nose.

It took a few hours to clean up and make the paint neat, but was worth it.  I had glued it onto a glittery stand that I had made by painting a bottle top with glitter Puffy Paint.  I also added some fluffy faux pink feathers around the stand to help make the glitter stand out more!

I hope you like it!

Potato Chips & Hot Dogs

Hello crafters & Happy New Years Eve!

Today I have an adorable & small new mini food to show you! I actually had finished making this mini a few weeks ago, but couldn't find the time to post it.  Took awhile to create, but I think they turned out pretty well.

As you can see in the picture below, I tried making hot dogs in a bun, with potato chips, mustard, and ketchup on the side. I had made about six plates of the same thing. Was actually much easier than I imagined to make them all almost exactly the same.  A bit tiny though since the plates I put the hot dogs & chips on were just 1 inch long!

To start making the chips, I just tore off at least 6 small pieces of yellowish beige clay.  Next, I used my fingers to press every piece or clay flat. Then, I used a piece of sandpaper, ripped in in half and place all of the small flat pieces of clay in between the both pieces of sandpaper to give it more of a texture. Finally, I used Tacky glue to glue the chips onto the plate.

Now onto the hot dogs & buns! First, I used a piece of beige clay, flattened it a bit and tried shaping it into a circle shape. Next, I used some maroon colored clay (I made it with red and black clay) and shaped & rolled a small piece of it until it was the perfect shape of a hot dog. Then, I used a toothpick to add a small dot of glue in the middle of the circle piece of beige clay & place the hot dog directly on it. Finally, I folded the beige clay (or bun) over to make it look it look perfectly like a hot dog in a bun.

Extra things I added was gluing the hot dog and bun to the plate, and using red and yellow Puffy Paint to look like the mustard and ketchup.

I hope you like it!

Christmas Castle Countdown - Day 5

Hello crafters!

Few hours later than expected for posting the final castle, but I guess it works!

Well, I saved my favorite & the best castle for last!  Which is. . . my Golden Chocolate Whipped Cream with Chocolate Syrup Castle!

This one actually is probably one of my favorite all-time minis.  It took hours to make, but is just so magical!

To make it, I just painted the castle with gold acrylic paint and brown paint.  I had also painted the ground with a gold paint & parts of it with white Caulk.  I had also tried making a chocolate walkway.  Finally, if I remember correctly, I used a permanent black marker and brown sun catcher paint to look like dark chocolate and coated chocolate syrup on the castle!

I hope you liked it & this Castle Countdown!  Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!

Christmas Castle Countdown - Day 4

Hello crafters!

Super sorry that it has been a few days since my last post!  Been busy with Christmas & a bit sick!  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

Well, since I wasn't able to finish our last 2 Castle Countdown posts on Christmas Eve & Christmas, I'm going to finish posting them today!  Now lets go back to December 24th!

So with us for today is another gingerbread castle!  Though, it is actually more of a gingerbread mansion, we'll call it a castle.

This is a delicious green peppermint chocolate house with a delightful peppermint and jelly bean walkway.  It also has a delicious candied snow ground around it with some super puffy cotton candy!  After that, there is some dark raspberry jelly that has fallen on the house and on the ground. Be careful!  The raspberry jelly is super sticky so make sure not to touch it!  And finally, we have a few candies and cookies to make the candy gate!

I hope you like it!  Check back since I will be posting Day 5 soon!

MIni Christmas Angel Charms

Hello crafters & Merry Christmas Eve!

On Christmas Eve, I'm almost always trying to finish adding any extra details to Christmas gifts I'm working on, and that is exactly what I'm doing again today!

Just trying to finish a few quick additions to a necklace gift I'm working on and decided to try using some silver micro beads to make some beautiful Christmas angels!

First, I just used some purple-dries-on-clear glue on some plastic, and slightly used a toothpick to put each and every micro bead perfectly in place for the perfect angel shape!  Then, I added another layer of glue and silver micro beads on top to make it thicker and a bit less fragile.  Finally, I added one last coating of glue on top.

When it was dry, I slightly just pulled it off the plastic and cut off the extra pieces of glue on the sides.

I hope you like it!

Kawaii Star Plushie

Hello crafters!

A few days ago I had finally finished another holiday craft for a challenge on Crafty Amino.  The theme was Stars so I was trying to come up with ideas all day and just couldn't think of anything.  Finally, I thought to make a star plushie!

It turned out really adorable.  To make this kawaii star plushie, I just drew out a star on paper, cut it out, and placed it on a piece of yellow felt.  I used it to cut out a felt star shape.  Next, I did the same thing with the second star piece.  Really surprised that it turned out so well since normally I'm not the best at drawing, or cutting out a star shape.  Luckily I had my ruler to help!

Then, I just used gold thread to stitch each and every side of the star.  After that, I used a permanent black marker to draw the eyes, eyelashes, and mouth.   Finally, I used a popsicle stick to add stuffing inside, and finished sewing it up.

Finished it in about an hour after I began making it.  I hope you like it!  Merry Christmas!

Christmas Castle Countdown - Day 3

Hello crafters!

Can't believe tomorrow is already Christmas Eve!

Since, it just seems like the perfect day to eat some delicious peppermints, I decided to post my peppermint castle for today!

First, I painted this castle with a bit of white, red, and chocolate paint.  Next, I used micro beads and peppermint sticks to look similar to some peppermint snow.  After that, I used cherry balls to make the sides of the walkway and painted it with brown paint to look like chocolate.  Finally, I just added a few more decorations!

I hope you like it!

Christmas Castle Countdown - Day 2

Hello crafters!

Super excited to post day 2 of my Christmas Castle Countdown!

I decided since it is getting colder closer to Christmas, it is the perfect time to post an ice castle!

To make this beautiful ice & snow inspired castle, I painted it with some blue & white acrylic paint. Next, I just added some shimmery clear beads to make the snow shine a bit and added a few candies for the walkway. Finally, I just added two rock candy tree decorations & a few pieces of whipped cream to decorate it a bit!

I hope you like it!

MIniature 1:12 Scale Yoga Mat

Hello crafters!

Starting to notice I have been making a ton more tutorials lately! They are so much fun!

Well today, I'm going to show you how to make miniature 1:12 scale yoga mats! It was actually pretty easy to make!

First, I just got out a piece of blue foam. Next, I used scissors to cut it perfectly in half.  After that, I rolled up one of the two pieces & taped the end to make it looked like a rolled up yoga mat and left the other one flat out. The yoga mats are finished!

I hope you like it!

How To Organize Tangled Ribbons

Hello crafters!

For me, the holiday season is one of the busiest crafting times of the year, and also  one of the messiest times.  Which means the more I craft, the more organizing ideas I have to come up with.  So I figured, why not share ideas I come up with to help any other crafters with the same problem?

After getting some new ribbons awhile ago, I have been trying to come up with an idea of how to neatly store them without getting tangled.  I finally figured out the perfect idea!

To store them without getting bent or tangled, I just used a small popsicle stick and taped one end of a ribbon to the popsicle stick.  Then, I just wrapped the ribbon around it, and kept wrapping until the whole ribbon was wrapped around the stick.  Finally, I taped the other end of the ribbon!

I hope you liked this idea!  Wishing you all a happy holiday & Merry Christmas!

Mini Frog

Hello crafters!

I'm super excited to show you an adorable mini that I made awhile ago! It is an adorable little frog!

I tried making it a few weeks ago since I was trying to make a few different mini animals. First, I tried shaping its body. Next, I just used a toothpick to shape out the legs and to sort of give it some texture & make it look more realistic. Then, I used a black permanent marker to make the eyes and nose! And finally, I just attached a small flattened out piece of pink clay for the tongue!

It took a little while for me to make but turned out so adorable! I hope you like it!

Christmas Castle Countdown - Day 1

Hello crafters!

I'm super excited to announce a brand new Christmas craft countdown that I will be doing leading up until Christmas!

And If you remember my Christmas art countdown I was daily posting, don't worry! I have not forgot about it! Have been using the extra time to draw much better art, and the posts will start back again tomorrow until Christmas!

But for now, every day until Christmas, we will be posting a mini gingerbread castle! What is a gingerbread castle? Well, it is a castle that little gingerbread people live in! Let's start off with today's castle!

I had actually made this one a few years ago inspired by vanilla & chocolate ice cream! The castle was actually some type of purple colored piece to a game. I added some strawberry icing on the stairs and a chocolate candy walkway. Finally, i just added light strawberry whipped cream onto the ground!

I hope you like it!

They didn't take too long to make. Had got inspired to make them after seeing some beautiful holiday drinks.

Made them by adding red, green, and more red clay into the glasses. Next, I used Simulation Cream for the whipped cream. Finally, I just sprinkled cut up red & white clay sprinkles for the topping!

White Icing Strawberry Heart Cake

Hello crafters!

Today we have a brand new cake to reveal!  The cake shape is a bit new too!  It's not really a square cake, it is not really a rectangle.  Honestly, it looks kind of cool!  Why this shape though?

Well I found an orange key chain and decided it looked almost like a cake.  So next, I covered one side of it with a piece of paper that I cut in the came shape & stuck the other side to a board.  Then, I used white Caulk and mixed red Puffy Paint with white Caulk to make pink and used them as frosting.  Finally, I used the pink caulk to draw a heart and added heart decorations around it.

I hope you like it!

Peppermint Cheesecake Pie

Hello crafters!

Today I'm super excited to show you a peppermint cheesecake pie I made awhile ago!

It was actually one of my first ever pies I had created.  Although it think I could do much better now, it is amazing how much improvement my minis have made within the last few months.

So, I made this mini peppermint cheesecake pie!  I used beige clay for the filling and added brown clay for the crust.  Next, I used a toothpick to add some indents into the crust.  Finally, I added some peppermint decorations on top!

I hope you like it!

Ducktales Inspired 1:12 Scale Pot

Hello crafters!

A few months ago Disney started a new show called "Ducktales" which inspired me to make an adorable duck pot perfect for any 1:12 scale dolls to cook in!

It was actually very easy to make. I created it out of a small sun catcher paint container.  I trimmed it up a bit so the sides would look like a pot with the handles & luckily it already had a perfect top.  Just cleaned the paint out of the container, and painted the it with white Puffy Paint. Next, I painted the side of the top orange to look like a duck bill and added two black dots with black Puffy Paint for the eyes!

I hope you like it!

Snowman Cake

Good morning crafters!

Since Christmas is coming so soon, everything is getting busier! Which also means making more crafts, posting more crafts, and preparing for our New Years Eve Craft Countdown! But for now, let's stick to this new snowman!

A few days ago I started working on an adorable snowman cake.  I shaped three white clay balls into the shape of cake layers. Next, I made a little hat & scarf. After that, I coated it with white Puffy Paint to give it a frosting look. Finally, I added the carrot nose and paint the eyes, mouth and buttons!

I hope you like it!

Throwback Smoothies - Blueberry Cream

Hello crafters!

After looking at some old smoothies i made a few years ago, It seems like a perfect throwback time! Although my miniature smoothies have improved a ton since then, it still seems worth posting!

Well, here with us in the first post of our new "Throwback Smoothies" series of posts, is a blueberry cream smoothie!

It was pretty quick & easy to make. If I remember correctly, all I did was fill the cup with blue & white paint, and then added a cute ice cream decoration on top.

i hope you like it!
