Day 1 Of Disney Crafts: Beauty and the Beast Enchanted Rose

I had so much fun with the craft I just finished late last night, and I'm super excited to share it!

So last night I decided try creating a miniature size of the beautiful Beauty and the Beast enchanted rose. It took a few hours to give it the rose petal look, but was totally worth it! When finished, I slightly brushed the rose and petals with a little golden paint. I created the dome using clear tape and a dot of brown clay painted gold on the top.

Here is the finished enchanted rose! Perfect size for a dollhouse! Hope you like it!

Cheshire Cat

Haven't posted in some days due to I was trying to make over 70 crafts in one day to use for my crafty launch image entry. Did not finish them all in time to post and was taking a break from so much clay!

Anyways, this craft was actually the craft I started making for the #wonderlandcrafts weekend challenge on Crafty Amino. I actually finished about a week ago but had forgotten to post it. I decided to make an adorable Cheshire cat!!! I hope you like him!

Hickory Dickory Dock....

This weekend I have been working on a craft for the nursery rhymes craft weekend challenge on Crafty Amino.

When I saw the nursery rhyme challenge the first thing I thought of was the nursery rhyme "Hickory Dickory Dock" So when the mice ran up the clock it gave me an idea to make a clock and some cute mice to climb it!

In the picture below I made a golden & brown clock. First, I got 4 popsicle sticks and made some brown clay. Next, I covered the sticks in brown clay and put the pieces together (the sticks help to hold it together). I flattened and shaped the sides, inside, top and bottom until it was the perfect shapes I wanted. Then, I filled the top part with yellow clay and used black, gray & yellow clay to make the hands at the bottom part.
When it was finished, I used golden paint to paint the yellow parts and made a super nice dark brown wood-like paint color using red & green Puffy paint & used that to paint the brown parts. When painting the darker brown on I used my paintbrush to give it wood-like strokes. Finally, I painted on the numbers. Oh, I also made 2 gray mice so they could run up the clock! They got a little paint on them while helping me and refuse to wash it off!

Hope you like it! #nurseryrhymecrafts

Mermaid Crafts: Mer-Cat

For the mermaid craft weekend challenge on Crafty Amino I had decided to make a mer-cat, part cat and part mermaid which I decided to share!

I made a little ocean scene for the mer-cat. If you look closely, you can see a waterfall where the water falling is in the shape of a mermaid tail. I also created a sea mouse, which is a blue mouse with a curled tail. To finish it off with another friend for the mer-cat, I made a cute, purple octopus. Everything is made out of air-dry clay.

I hope you like my mer-cat!

Tropical Polynesian Inspired Volcano

A few weeks ago I created a craft for the Polynesian crafts weekend on Crafty Amino & wanted to share it here too!

I decided to make a volcano with lava. I made the volcano out of purple, green, and yellow clay, and then made the lava using orange clay. I then added some liquid orange clay on top of the orange clay to make the lava look more realistic. I made the rocks around the volcano with hard black clay & liquid black clay. I hope you like it!

Extreme Gingerbread Pool

For the poolside crafts weekend challenge on Crafty Amino I decided to post this pool I made for all gingerbread girls & boys to play in! Then decided to share the news about the newly opened gingerbread pool for any other gingerbread that hadn't found out yet!

To make it I used the packaging that the paint for my sun-catchers came in. When turned upside down it looked like a giant pool place, perfect size for gingerbread people!

I painted the outside of the pool with the colors I wanted. Since it was clear plastic, painting the outside gave it a shiny pool effect inside. When it dried, I used some blue sun-catcher paint for the parts that looked like slides to make it look a water slide.

Finally, I put some cute gingerbread people in! I hope you like it!

Disney Descendants 2 Cake

In one of my last posts I created a few different items representing the 4 main villian kids in Disney's Descendants. So since they are planning to have a second movie released soon, I decided to try and make a Descendants 2 inspired cake!

On the top of the cake you can see small symbols representing each villian kid. The green and black thing is supposed to represent Mal (daughter of Malificent), and the apple represents Evie (daughter of Evil Queen). The two white & black dog-bones crossed represent Carlos (son of Cruella de Vill) and the yellow cobra represents Jay (son of Jafar)

I then added two swords crossed in the middle since in many of the previews for Descendants 2 has them with swords. I finally put a part gold-part blue octopus tail in between the swords to represent the 2 in Descendants 2.

I hope you like it!
