Grape Cake Slices & Smoothie

Hello crafters!

I have been so excited to show some new grape flavored cake slices I finished a few days ago!

I started making them out of white clay. I got two small balls of white clay and shaped them into a thick triangle-like shape. I kept shaping both pieces of clay until it looked perfectly like a cake slice shape.

After I finished both pieces, I used a caulk-like substance mixed with dark maroon Puffy Paint (although caulk should work the exact same) to make the icing. (The icing was actually leftover icing I had used on my mini blueberry cake you can find i posted a few days ago.) I used a toothpick and spread it onto the outside of the cake. I tried my best to make it look like grape flavored whipped cream icing.

Once I finished the outside, I used a needle to flake the inside. After flaking it, I then used a toothpick to spread dark purple Puffy Paint on the middle of the cake to make it look like icing. And finally, I added a little grape decoration on top!

On the side I also made a delicious grape smoothe. I filled the inside by added a little more of the white caulk-like substance to the rest of the leftover icing. I tried making it look like grape whipped cream of top. I also added a little purple piece of dried clay to look like a grape or blueberry on top.

Actually have two grape smoothies, the second one did not show up for the mini photo shoot on time though.

I hope you like it!
