Miniature Tiger!

Hello crafters!

Today I'm super excited to show you all another adorable baby animal that I recently finished making! I had actually made this animal at the same time I was making my miniature gray puppy. Luckily, I finally found the time to reveal my miniature tiger!

I never actually realized how much I love making miniature baby animals. They are so fun to make and it's so exciting to see the final result! But, no point in prolonging the reveal of this adorable tiger. Here she is!
Isn't she just so cute? Since I'm pretty new to making animals, I used a miniature cat & repainted her with tiger colors and fur.  I used Puffy Paints & pipe-cleaners to repaint her. To make the beautiful orange color, I mixed a bit of orange Puffy Paint with a dash of black Puffy Paint. Then, I made the beige color by mixing orange & white Puffy Paint. For the eyes and fierce black stripes, I used black Puffy Paint.

First, I painted the mini cat with two coats of orange paint. Next, I found a white pipe-cleaner and cut the white fur off of it. Then, I mixed it with the orange paint until there was no white fur left visible. After that, I painted on the orange fur. Finally, I used black Puffy Paint to paint on the stripes and color the eyes black.

After many hours of very small & detailed work, this miniature tiger turned out adorable! I hope you like it!

Miniature Gray Puppy

Hello crafters!!!

I'm super excited to finally post this adorable craft after so many days! I had actually made this craft last weekend specifically for a friend's birthday gift.

For this craft, I decided to create an adorable mini gray puppy! I had actually created it by repainting another miniature dog. This was one of my first times repainting any animals so I think it turned out really good!

To make it, I found a miniature white puppy of mine that I wanted to repaint. Next, I mixed white, black, & orange Puffy Paint to make the gray color. Then, I painted the puppy with one coat of gray. After that, I got 2 white pipe cleaners and used scissors to cut all of the white fur off. Then, I mixed the fur in with the gray paint until all of the fur was gray. After that, I lightly applied the gray paint/fur onto the puppy. Finally, I used a toothpick to apply black Puffy Paint onto the puppy's nose & eyes to fix any parts that I had accidentally messed up.

I started working on this puppy last Friday night and finished Saturday afternoon. Pretty impressed with how amazing it turned out within such little time!

I hope you like it!

Miniature WIP Alligator

Hello crafters!

This morning, I'm super excited to finally post a new craft that I'm in the middle of working on.  One of the crafts that I'm working on is . . .

A miniature alligator! Never thought I would actually be trying to make one since there are so many details needed. I'm actually pretty impressed by it so far.

To make it, I used white air-dry clay to just easily shape the alligator face, mouth, body, and tail. Made the legs separate & had glued them on. Alligator tail accidentally broke a few times, but no worries! I glued the tailback every time & it healed!

Although rare, white alligators exist, I decided to make & paint it as a green alligator. Once the clay was dry, I painted it with one coat of green sun catcher paint. Next, I tried drawing on the back of the mini alligator with a marker & then re-coated the alligator with more sun catcher paint.

Not finished yet, still have a lot to finish on it including eyes, teeth details, and other extra details. Might also try making a habitat for it.

Well, I hope you like this beautiful alligator so far!

Mini Chihuahua - Finished!

Hello crafters!

Remember my WIP mini chihuahua I posted awhile ago?  She is finally finished!

Was planning to post the finished product a day or two after posting the WIP version since she was almost finished, until I decided to add some sparkle & wait until after Christmas to post her!  But no worries, she is finally here to be revealed!

Well, after the clay had dried, I mixed white, brown and a bit of yellow Puffy Paint to make a puppy beige color.  Next, I used a paintbrush and a toothpick to slightly paint the white chihuahua.  It was really hard to perfectly paint the chihuahua while trying not to get too much paint on the sofa.  After that, I used a paintbrush to paint the sofa purple.  I originally used a toothpick to add holes into the sofa so once I painted it purple, I added some gold beads into all of the little holes.  Finally, I used black Puffy Paint to draw the chihuahua's eyes, and then used a little black bead for her nose.

It took a few hours to clean up and make the paint neat, but was worth it.  I had glued it onto a glittery stand that I had made by painting a bottle top with glitter Puffy Paint.  I also added some fluffy faux pink feathers around the stand to help make the glitter stand out more!

I hope you like it!

Mini Frog

Hello crafters!

I'm super excited to show you an adorable mini that I made awhile ago! It is an adorable little frog!

I tried making it a few weeks ago since I was trying to make a few different mini animals. First, I tried shaping its body. Next, I just used a toothpick to shape out the legs and to sort of give it some texture & make it look more realistic. Then, I used a black permanent marker to make the eyes and nose! And finally, I just attached a small flattened out piece of pink clay for the tongue!

It took a little while for me to make but turned out so adorable! I hope you like it!
