Hello crafters!
Today I`m so excited to show a brand new clay figurine I made inspired by a Shopkins figurine!
So a few days ago I was looking at a cute ice cream sundae Shopkins and was wondering if I could make my own Shopkins inspired figurine out of clay. Afterwards I started trying to make one and I think it turned out pretty awesome!
To make it, I used some blue clay and tried to create an hour glass type of shape. Then, I put some white clay on top of it to look like ice cream. I added a few decorations and a cotton candy straw. Finally, I drew on the face.
Below you can see a picture comparing my version to the real Shopkins version. It look pretty similar except for the ice cream bowl is a bit darker blue, the straw is a touch lighter pink, it does not really have a mouth, and I think the ice cream part could have some more texturing. Besides that, I really love it!
Of course, like all of my other crafts, this was tons of fun to make! I hope you like it!
