Hello crafters!
I have really been having a ton of fun with sewing lately! Especially sewing doll clothes!
Well, a few days ago I made a Barbie doll sized outfit which is a zebra print shirt and leopard print skirt! It took a few hours to make but turned out really good!
The hardest part to make was the zebra shirt and the details on it.
I started off by making the zebra shirt first. I had cut out about a square of some zebra fabric and was trying to figure out what to use it as. Turns out just a small square of fabric is like the size of a mini dress, so I was going to make an off-shoulder dress until I started sewing. I decided to try making a shirt, so I just sewed the sides with gold thread & sewed on some velcro in the back. There was a bit more fabric left over on the top of the shirt so instead of cutting it off, I used it to make a cute collar bordered with gold thread. By this time I was almost done but decided it needed one more thing. So finally, I sewed around the bottom of the shirt with some gold thread.

Now time for the skirt! It was much simpler to make, I just took a strip of some leopard print fabric and sewed it together, and tried keeping the ends as neat as possible. I also added a bit of velcro on the back.
Was so much fun to make! Can't believe I finished it within a few hours. I hope you like it!
