Grilled Cheese

Hello crafters!

What craft do I have here now? Well you might've read one of my posts a few hours ago where I had mentioned about recently getting a new type of white clay. Although part of it i've been using for cakes, I actually used it on my Mini Mech-X4 craft along with this mini food too!

For this craft I made a super mini grilled cheese! It is actually was much easier to make it then I expected. I used a good bit of chalk though so I'd recommend make sure you have some colorful chalk colors before starting a project similar to this.

First, I got some of the white clay and started trying to shape it into a bread shape. I then cut it in half & used a paintbrush to slightly brush both of the bread pieces with brown chalk. Once it was the perfect bread color, I used a toothpick to make 3-4 lines in the bread to look like it had been grilled. I then used a toothpick to add a touch of extra brown and black marks in the lines I made to look close to being burnt.🍞🍞

Next, I started working on the cheese! I flattened out some more white clay and cut out a square shape. After that, I brushed the small white square with orange and yellow chalk. It is now mini cheese!🧀🧀

We're close to the final step! After that, I started working on the meat. I made the sausage pattie by getting some more white clay and rolling it into a small ball. For this, I mostly used my fingers to flatten it since it can't be too flat. Then, I pressed it against some sandpaper to give it a textured. Finally, I brushed the almost meat pattie with some red mixed with black & brown chalk.

Time for the final step! I put one half of the bread on the bottom, then glued the meat on top of the bread. Next I glued the cheese on top of the meat and tried flattening it on the meat to make it look melted. Finally, I glued the last half of the bread on the top!

The grilled cheese had so many steps and took a little while, but I really love it's realistic look!

I hope you like it!
