Gingerbread & Holly Headband Plushie

Hello crafters!

After seeing the theme for 12 Days of Craftmas which was Holly & Mistletoe on the app, Crafty Amino, I spent all this morning trying to come up with a creative idea of what to make some holly out of, and what to make it with. A few hours ago, I finally came up with just the perfect idea! Been working on it for the last 5 hours and luckily it turned out perfect!

So today, I sewed brown, red & green felt together to make a cute stuffed gingerbread man wearing a holly headband! When I finished sewing the gingerbread together, I used a black permanent marker to draw the face, and buttons. Then, I used silver glitter Puffy Paint on the arms & legs to look like icing. Finally, I sewed on the holly! It turned out sooo adorable!

Thinking about using this as a Christmas gift. I hope you like it!

WIP Mini Chihuahua

Just semi-finished working on this super small mini clay chihuahua laying on a mini puppy couch a few days ago which I'm planning to use as a Christmas gift. Fits perfect for 1:12 scale dolls!

After this photo I had to paint it & add tons of details so I had many more hours of work to finish.  I think it looked pretty good before it was painted.  Will be posting an updated version + explaining how I made it later tonight.

I hope you like it so far!

Miniature Snowy White Holiday cake

Hello crafters! Lately I have been working on many miniature cakes, and a few days ago I decided to make another after I came across a beautiful, real life size & edible white cake known as a "Snowy White Layer Cake" which is described to have Eggnog Filling and Bourbon-Vanilla Bean Frosting. I made the cake out of clay and frosted it with a fake icing mix I made which was made up of Puffy Paint & Simulation Cream. (Simulation Cream works the same as using calk) Then, I used old pieces of dried white paint to make the designs that looked similar to white flower petals

I originally was only planning to try & create the cake in miniature form, but instead also tried to create a prep board inspired by the picture of the real cake. After creating the beautiful & delicious, non-edible, miniature cake, I started working on the prep board. I used plastic to make board, and the knife. Next, I painted the knife with gray Puffy Paint. I stuck some little white paint petals on the side along with a bowl of fake cherries. And finally, I cut off a small piece of white fabric, folded it over, and glued it to make it look like a napkin.

Took a few hours to make but I love it! My first ever cake prep board!:) I hope you like it!

Gingerbread Cookies!

Hello crafters!

Early morning, just waking up, can't believe Christmas is just 8 days away! Been crafting so many Christmas items lately so make sure to check back daily! I will soon be starting a craft Christmas countdown! But enough about other posts coming soon! Lets get to the main part of this post.

Well a few weeks ago you might have seen my post showing my WIP Gingerbread. Surprise! They aren't "work in progress" anymore! Although it was kind of obvious that they would one day leave gingerbread training, here they are!

After the clay had dried, I used a paintbrush to paint them a beige color. Next I used a toothpick to make then with red, white, and/or black Puffy Paint.  They took a few hours to make but turned out adorable!

The hardest part of making these would probably be keeping my hand steady for so long since one move can destroy everything!

I hope you like them!

Miniature Four Layer Cherry Cheesecake

Hello crafters!

I have been waiting so long to post this delicious miniature four layer cherry cheesecake!  I actually made it a few weeks ago but just haven't been able to find the time to post it.

Anyways, the cake took a few hours to make.  I started off by making the cake out of white clay.  Once the white cake had dried, I mixed some Puffy Paint to make a bread color and cherry color.  Next, I painted the white cake with the light yellow/beige looking color.  After that, I painted parts of the inside and out with the cherry color to make it look like cherry layers in the cake.  Finally, I used clay to make some cherries, stuck them on top of the cake, and slightly painted the top with the cherry colored Puffy Paint to give it a cherry drizzle look!

Not sure if you noticed in the pictures, but the cake piece is actually much smaller than the cake due to when semi flaking the cake, I accidently pushed the cake down & made it much smaller.

Well, I hope you like it!

Cookie Bakery Box & Printable Template!

Hello crafters!

All this morning I've been working on a new project, which was, figuring out how to make easy printables! "Why is this needed" you many wonder? Well, now it means I can share easy templates to print, cut out, and use!

So today, I created a miniature bakery cookie size box! I started off by drawing out the box template, then scanned it on my computer and edited it a bit. Finally, I sized the box template down & printed it out! Pictures of it with gingerbread cookies I also made shown below!

Looking to make you're own? Keep reading below for the tutorial!

Pretty easy to make.  After printing out the template, only things left to do are cut out the box, and fold!

If you like this bakery box and want to make your own, here is the link to the template:  https://docs.google.com/document/d/15gnywf2CPrq0H4wWRC-j9itU-UvwlZ1PbXrGomCYYIQ/edit?usp=sharing

*We ask you to use this template for personal use only. Please do not sell, or repost this design without prior consent from ©CrazyCraftyKitty Creations.

Once the template is printed out, use scissors to carefully cut along the red lines, and stop cutting once you hit the pink lines. After this, fold the box on the lines. Your cookie box is now ready to use!

I hope you like it! Hoping to make more printable mini templates to share soon!

Tutorial: How To Make Your Own Holiday Bow

Hello crafters!

Christmas is my favorite time of the year and there are never enough decorations!  So a few days ago, I started wondering "How can I make my own holiday bow?"

For my first time ever making a bow, it turned out really well.  I decided, why not share a tutorial for anyone else trying to learn how to make quick, simple & easy holiday bows?  So here it goes!

                                                  ->DIY Christmas Bow Tutorial<-
You'll need:
A gold ribbon (you can change the color ribbon to adjust what color bow that you're making)
A pipe cleaner (I used gold but you can try whatever works for you!
Scissors

1.
First, I cut the ribbon basically in half.  To start off making the bow, I just folded the ribbon almost perfectly in half, and rubbed it down to keep it folded.

2.
Next, I just folded both sides, and held them in the middle making an almost oval shape.  Then, I pressed down in the middle.

3.
After that, I placed the pipe cleaner on top of the bow and slightly wrapped it around. I twisted the gold pipe cleaner so it wouldn't come loose.

4.
                                                      Then, I fluffed the bow.

5.
After that, I placed the other piece of gold ribbon with one end of the pipe cleaner under it, and the other end on top.  I twisted one end of the gold pipe cleaner clockwise, and twisted the other counter clockwise.

6.
Finally, I cut off the extra leftover parts of the pipe cleaner and trimmed the ends of the beautiful bow!

Wishing you all a super fun time decorating!  I hope you liked this tutorial!

Mini Kitty Mermaid Micro Bead Art

Hello crafters!

A few days ago I was working on some beautiful micro bead art!

Never ever had tried anything like this before, but I kind of like it.  To make it, I just used a pencil to draw a picture of a cat with a mermaid tail underwater.  Next, I rubbed glue on the drawing.  Finally, I used a toothpick to slightly piece each and every bead onto the picture.  I used pink beads for the tail, black & gold beads for the cat part to make it a gold & black cat, some white beads for the eyes, and mostly blue beads for the water part.  By the time I got to adding on the beads for the water, I started to just randomly stick them.

This took many hours to make, got very tiring, but was worth it.  I really love it, especially for my first time making something like this.  The whole piece is smaller than 3 inches, so it would probably fit well for a giant doll photo.

I hope you like it!
